The idea of this project was to design how I would like to see my own place in the future. But already at designing stage of the building itself I got to ahead of myself and went way to far. Ending up with a futuristic apartment which I call a bachelor apartment.
The layout of the house was first to make a room anex sleepingroom. To give a bit of a private feeling I thought of making a glas wall around the bed. Right after that I found the remaining room to small so I upgraded it. Making it bigger for a sitting area, and added a wing for the bathroom and kitchen.
For the rest of the room I wanted a industrial yet futuristic look. By using dark and greyish colors combined with the glas and the string lining I found the end result stunning.
The lights used are a combination of LED light bars, downlight erco spots and some other design light fittings. By creating diffrent light groups I could create a few scene’s. The scene’s used so far are:
- Dark,
- Night,
- Normal,
- Working,
- All on.
